Season 2 Episode 30: Giving Birth to the Most Authentic Version of Ourselves through Ayurveda with Ananta Ripa Ajmera

Ayurveda is the world’s oldest system of health and healing.

It is the sister science of yoga that teaches how to live in harmony with the cycles and rhythms of Mother Nature. Ayurveda follows two rhythms: the rhythm of the day called Dinachirya Sanskrit which translates to “following the day”, and Ritucharya, or “following the rhythm of the seasons”. In our daily lifestyles and as the seasons change, we are recommended different sets of preventative health prescriptions that allow us to really optimize our health and well-being, make amazing decisions, feel rested and balanced, and generally live a healthy, happy, and beneficial life. Ayurveda defines health-giving actions as those that are beneficial to ourselves and others; an inherent sense of community, connection, and oneness that this particular system deeply explores.
